'Do What You Like'
Posted: 08-11-2009Timy Fairfield is featured in a 2’ short film entitled ‘Do What You Like’, which has been entered in the Reel Rock Tour short film contest. The film is produced and directed by New Mexico photographer and videographer, Nathan Bancroft of Rogue State Films (Vimeo.com)

The production crew also included documentary filmmaker, Tomy Fairfield (Timy’s younger brother) of Hook’em Films, Bill Sprague (aka ‘DJ Kyote’) & Shane Sullivan. World class Getty outdoor/action sports photographer, Michael Clark, graced us with his camera skills capturing dramatic still images of the video shoot. (michaelclark.com)

The film includes footage of Jon Cardwell & Andre Di Felice sessioning on Sickman .14b at Palomas, Tipping Point V14 & Saadhu V14 at the Temple as well as Scott Minturn (aka ‘The Intern’) on Jito V10 at U-Mound bouldering area.
The TF footage was captured during an epic night shoot from 6pm-4am at the Crystal Cave located in Jemez Springs, NM. The routes shot include: Minutia .12c, Super Dope ,13b, The Leper .13c, and the un-repeated area test piece, Rosebudd .14a (FA Timy Fairfield). The evening proved to be a great fitness workout with TF having to climb Minutia 3x, The Leper 3x, Super Dope 2x and the V10/11 crux of Rosebudd 5x – including a full repeat redpoint on the last take of Rosebudd during the all-nighter! That’s ‘Rosebudd’ with 2 D’s for a double dose………………………..

The winning film will be featured on the Fall 2009 Reel Rock Tour.
